ABOUT AGILITY / QUICKNESS

Arguably, the biggest contributors to success in sports performance is quickness and agility. Agility is the ability to brake, rapidly change direction, and explosively accelerate in the intended direction, while maintaining proper balance and stability. Quickness goes hand in hand with agility as it is in its truest sense of your reaction time and how fast and how much force you can generate.

But nothing in sports operates in a vacuum and neither do agility and quickness. Agility and quickness cannot be increased if the lower body lacks high levels of strength and explosive power. As a result, we have included several complimentary strength and plyometric exercises to help supplement your resisted agility and quickness training.
