Step 1. Fill a saucepan with 3 to 4 cups of water. Bring water to a boil.

Step 2. Remove the saucepan from the heat source. Ler the water stand for 30 seconds, then place the mouthguard in hote water for 90 seconds. Do not exceed the heating time!

Step 3. Carefully remove the mouthguard with tongs or a slotted spoon and run under cold water or in a water filled bowl (ideally with ice cubes) for 1 second. Quickly move to the next step.

Step 4. In front of a mirror, lick lips and then line up mouthguard with the centerline of the front teeth. Fit mouthguard ontp and around the upper teeth and press firmly into the molars first, then the front teeth.

Step 5. Close the jaw and bite down hard. Suck in strongly and use finger to continuously press the front and side of the mouthguard onto the teeth for 30 seconds.

Step 6. Remove the mouthguard from your mouth and place under cold running water or in a bowl of water for 60 seconds.

Step 7. Put mouthguard back into your mouth. If you do not get a tight fit, repeat Steps 1-6.
